Welcome Australian Pig Farmers! Free Range Pig Farmers Australia has identified a need for support for all small scale pork producers, not just free range farmers. Australia's smallholders make up around 70% of the total pig producers
in this country. The majority of these australian pig farmers raise their pigs a
little differently to the commercial industry and sometimes help can be
hard to find. Raising a small herd of pigs outdoors can also present
unique challenges. Our aim is to make information easily accessible,
understandable and targeted to owners of small pig herds. We provide
a forum for exchange of ideas and experiences and a place where you can
ask for guidance and help from other aussie pig farmers. View the 60 Minutes story on the Australian pig industry. This story includes an interview filmed at Melanda Park Free Range . Whether yo u already own pigs or are contemplating a new venture, you are welcome to join. International members welcome
