Free Range Pig Producers has identified a need
for support for all small scale pork producers, Australia's smallholders make up around 70% of the total pig
producers
in this country. The majority of these australian pig farmers
raise their pigs a
little differently to the commercial industry and sometimes help
can be
hard to find. Raising a small herd of pigs outdoors can also
present
unique challenges. Our aim is to make information easily
accessible,
understandable and targeted to owners of small pig herds. We
provide
a forum for exchange of ideas and experiences and a place where
you can
ask for guidance and help from other aussie pig farmers. General membership is free.
